Our List

Jennive & I are “list” buffs.  We make a list for everything.  Plan this, plan that.  We think, we plan, we write, we execute.  That’s how we get things done together.  We do everything together.  We are even going to turn 30 together (born in 1984).  Jennive’s birthday is May 19^th, and mine is July 17^th.  Since turning 28 this year put us one year closer to 30, we decided to make another list!  A list of all the epic things we are going to do together before we turn 30. 

All these things are personal to us.  They are meant to be our own monumental achievements.  In our marriage thus far, we have spent a large amount of time trying to make memories, not just for us as a couple, but for our children too.  Our hope is to document this list through photos and blogging to preserve each activity and life milestone for our future enjoyment.

So here’s our list:

1. Climb Table Rock Mountain
2. Go on a cruise (without the kids!)
3. Visit a beach (with the kids)
4. Go to a Broadway show in New York
5. Go cross country skiing
6. Go skinny dipping
7. Climb a tree
8. See a redwood tree
9. Drive a really expensive car
10. Eat sauerkraut and bratwurst in Germany
11. Have baby #4
12. Speak Spanish fluently
13. Finish the house "honey-do" list
14. Pay off all debt (except mortgage)
15. Visit SoCal
16. Surf a wave
17. Teach our oldest son how to play baseball
18. Go horseback riding
19. Make out in the rain
20. Eat a Florida orange in Florida
21. Catch a fish (in Alaska)
22. Camp in Yellowstone
23. Eat at the SkyCity Restaurant (Space Needle)
24. Hike Mount Timpanogos
25. Get an article published
26. Run across the Golden Gate Bridge
27. Watch a Rockies baseball game (Coors Field)
28. Plant a garden
29. Catch a firefly
30. Ride a bike from one childhood home to another (Rexburg to St. Anthony, Idaho)

Only three rules: Each must be documented with a photo.  Each must be done together.  Each must be completed before 11:59pm on May 18, 2014 (before Jennive turns 30).
